Refund Policy

Effective Date: February 17, 2026

  1. Overview. We want you to be satisfied with your learning experience. This Refund Policy explains the terms under which you may request a refund for courses or services purchased from SkillLift.
  2. Digital Course Refunds. Due to the nature of digital content, we generally do not offer refunds once a course has been accessed. However, we provide a 7‑day satisfaction guarantee for most courses.
  3. 7‑Day Guarantee. If you are unhappy with a course for any reason, you may request a full refund within 7 days of purchase, provided you have not completed more than 30% of the course content. To request a refund, email us with your order details.
  4. Bundled Packages. For discounted bundles, refunds are calculated based on the retail value of the courses you have accessed. The remaining amount (if any) may be refunded at our discretion.
  5. Mentorship Programs. Refunds for mentorship or coaching programs are handled differently. You may cancel within 48 hours for a full refund. After that, refunds are prorated based on the portion of sessions completed.
  6. Subscription Services. If you have a recurring subscription, you may cancel at any time. Refunds for the current billing period are not issued, but you will retain access until the end of the paid period.
  7. In‑Person Workshops. For events with limited seating, cancellations made at least 14 days before the start date receive a full refund. Cancellations within 14 days may receive a credit toward a future workshop.
  8. Technical Issues. If you experience technical problems that prevent you from accessing a course, we will work to resolve them promptly. If we cannot resolve the issue, you may be eligible for a refund.
  9. Duplicate Purchases. If you accidentally purchase the same course twice, we will refund the duplicate charge upon notification.
  10. Refund Timeframe. Approved refunds will be processed within 5–10 business days and will be credited to your original payment method. Your bank may take additional time to post the refund.
  11. How to Request a Refund. To request a refund, please contact us at the email address below with your name, order number, and reason for the request. We will respond within 2 business days.
  12. Discretionary Refunds. In certain circumstances (e.g., medical emergencies), we may offer refunds outside of this policy at our sole discretion. Such decisions are final.
  13. Non‑Refundable Items. Gift cards, promotional credits, and donations are non‑refundable. Fees paid for certifications or exam proctoring are also non‑refundable once the exam has been scheduled.
  14. Chargebacks. If you dispute a charge with your bank instead of contacting us, we may suspend your account until the matter is resolved. We encourage you to reach out to us first.
  15. Course Exchanges. We do not offer direct exchanges, but you may request a refund for one course and purchase another, subject to the 7‑day guarantee.
  16. Refund Abuse. We reserve the right to deny refunds if we detect abuse, such as repeated purchases and refunds by the same user or account.
  17. Changes to Refund Policy. We may update this policy occasionally. The current version will always be posted here. Refunds are subject to the policy in effect at the time of purchase.
